Nash Reunion 2011

I made this really cool collage thing with all our Utah/Idaho pictures and added captions but it wouldn't upload very big on here so I'm going to make this mostly pictures and a little caption. But at least I posted, right? Right!

Get past how "out doorsy" I look. I didn't do my hair or make up the whole time.
Before our little hike I told the boys about before there was cameras people had to draw pictures of the new things they found to show others. So we had to stop about every five steps for them to draw a puddle or a leaf or trace a rock.
Jacob's aunt brought up a cotton candy machine, that is pretty much how they ended their day was with a mouth full of sugar.
Quinn was the funniest with his notebook. He would crouch down and poke at whatever he was looking at with his pencil like it was a crime scene.
He was so proud of himself that he climbed this steep hill.

If you thought the slide at Colleen's house was big, think again! This was almost double in size. I never had to wonder where my boys were cause they were on this thing non-stop!
Oggy was in heaven on this trip. Tons of candy and cotton candy everyday!
The view of the Temple from the top floor of the LDS office building.

Well that's about it. Sorry if it's boring but really for three days at the reunion I lived it up and just sat around.

Quinn favorite movie is Nacho Libre, he made his own costume and wears it all day long. If we go anywhere he usually has it on under his pants so he can rip off his pants and be Nacho. Last month Jake and the boys went to Fathers and Sons ( I forgot to send the camera, boo hoo). I downloaded a bunch of songs so the boys could have their own playlist. Oggy choose just about all the songs form Nightmare Before Christmas and Quinn picked all Nacho Libre songs. Quinn was so excited to have one of his favorite songs from the movie that he ran, put on his costume and did an awesome improv...um it's not really a dance, so some poses?
Anyways here it is.

On Memorial Day we had nothing to do so we just went to some stores. Some how we ended up at REI. Getting out of the car Ogden says "Oh if we are at a boy store I need to wear my jacket." and whipped out this...

One Saturday after chores, Quinn put together this obstacle course for him and Oggy. The dad in me had to film them going through it and better thing to do with a random video? Put it to some music.
enjoy!

(Quinn thought of the title)

Summer has officially started here! Quinn and Oggy are done with school and the counted down to when they start has begun! The last few days of school for Oggy was Crazy Hat Day (I didn't know about it, so he didn't wear one), Crazy Hair Day and the last day was a Splash Party.
I had just cut Oggy's hair so he didn't have much to work with but I think we did a pretty good job. I made his hair look like a stegosaurus.

While Oggy was at his Splash Party, Quinn and I had our own end of the year party. I took him to see Kung Fu Panda 2 and out to lunch. And where did we go for lunch? The only place that exists in their world of restaurants.

This is the face of a very happy boy who doesn't have to stay home anymore! Really we are both really happy. I am looking forward to having no kids in the house for half the day, five day a week!!

Because I love you!!

Yesterday they put on their suit jackets and jeans and they were "Rockstars". First I put on "Come Sail Away" and put it to the part when it gets louder but that was a no go. Quinn asked me if I can put on a song that starts out "a rock song and ends a rock song" so I put on "Rock You Like Hurricane". They have some pretty good moves that they made up like "The Dragon". The ending pose is called "The Eagle"
(The video is like 3 mins. so if you don't have 3 mins to be laugh your head off come back:)

Enjoy!!
